1. Personal Pronouns
i. Replace the subject of a sentence (subject pronoun) or the object of a sentence (object pronoun)

ii. Take the place of three persons:
· The first person or the person speaking (I, We)
· The second person or the person spoken to (You)
· The third person or the person spoken about (He, She, It, and They)
iii. Can be divided into singular or plural pronouns

2. Possessive Pronouns are used to show possessions.
· Mine · His · Ours · Its · Yours · Hers · Theirs |
Examples:

3. Demonstrative pronouns are used to show which noun we are talking about.
· This · That · These · Those |
Examples:
· This old dress was my mother’s wedding dress.
· That blue car is a vintage Ford.
4. Interrogative pronouns are
i. Question words
· Who · Which · What · Whose |
ii. Used to ask questions and begin a sentence
· Which came first, the chicken or the egg?
· Whose book is that?
5. Reflexive pronouns are used
i. When the subject and the object are the same or that the subject and the object refer to the same noun or pronoun.

Examples:
i. I wrote the poem myself.
ii. He hit himself with a ball.
iii. She hated herself for not telling her best friend the truth.
ii. To emphasis the subject in a sentence. The subject (doer) who does the action also fells the effect of the action.
· If you want a job done well, you have to do it yourself.
· My sister drove to the hospital herself.
· Zain designed the house himself.
