I'm Sagittarius Woman

Confidently optimistic, the Sagittarius woman looks forward to seeing what comes of each new day. Travel, work, or play, this lady looks for adventure and increased knowledge in everything she does.

Sagittarius and Relationship
The Sagittarius woman loves companionship and wants a friend and partner who can share her love for truth and knowledge. Relationships with her are often active and spirited, filled with strange and faraway journeys, both metaphorical and literal. She is enthusiastic about all new things and her partner must be well-read and well-travelled. This is necessary in order to keep up with her on philosophy, the world, exotic lands, and exciting discoveries. The Archer's aim is always true when in a relationship, and Sagittarians are loyal and devoted partners.

Sagittarians and Friendships
Intellectual and adventurous, the Archer loves to hang out with her comrades-in-arms. She is often the court jester, with an outlandish sense of fun and a love of madcap fancies. This, coupled with their knowledge of culture, philosophy, and travel, make her a much sought after conversationalist. If you ever want your world expanded, talk to your Sagittarian friend. Completely impartial, her friendships come from all walks of life and are made up of people of all nationalities and cultures. The Archer is usually Best Friends Forever with the signs Libra and Aquarius.

Sagittarius and Sex
A Sagittarius woman scorches in the bedroom, as befits a Fire sign. My, oh my, is she fiery! She approaches sex as pure physicality, not from an emotional or practical standpoint. Self-assured and confident, she is a sensual animal and her sense of adventure usually means your Sagittarius lover is up for anything, at any time! In line with her approach with the rest of life, Sagittarian women enjoy a variety of physical experiences, so a lover who is both artistic and creative would suit them best. Any person who wants to win their respect in the bedroom will have to be both bold and brainy.

Sagittarius and Fashion
Always slaking her thirst for knowledge, the Sagittarian woman can be a little Dora the Explorer when it comes to fashion. She doesn't care a hoot about fashion trends or making a statement, as long as she is comfortable in her surroundings. Natural fabrics like cotton, wool, and linen suit her best. She loves colorful maxi skirts, loose jeans, and sportswear. Minimal makeup and seldom any jewellery, as adornment merely gets in the way of letting others discover her true nature. Simple, bohemian and unassuming, the Sagittarian fashion sense is a breath of fresh air.

Recipe Pavlova

150ml eggwhite (approximately 4 eggs)
1 cup (220g) caster (superfine) sugar
2 tablespoons cornflour (cornstarch), sifted
2 teaspoons white vinegar
1 cup (250ml) single (pouring) cream
½ cup passionfruit pulp (approximately 4 passionfruit)
250g strawberries, hulled and halved

Preheat oven to 150°C (300°F). Place the eggwhite in the bowl of an electric mixer and whisk until stiff peaks form. Gradually add the sugar, whisking well, until the mixture is stiff and glossy.

Add the cornflour and vinegar and whisk until just combined. Shape the mixture into an 18cm round on a baking tray lined with non-stick baking paper. Reduce oven to 120°C (250°F) and bake for 1 hour 20 minutes. Turn the oven off and allow the pavlova to cool completely in the oven. Whisk the cream until soft peaks form. Spread over the pavlova, top with passionfruit and strawberries and serve immediately. Serves 8–10.

* You’ll know when the meringue is stiff and glossy because the mixture will have tripled in volume and stands up when the beaters are lifted.

* The low heat puffs up the meringue while the long cooking time dries it out to give you a lovely crisp shell.

* Store your pavlova, undressed, in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.

Titanic Movie is The Best Story

Beginning with treasure hunter Brock Lovett (Bill Paxton) searching the Titanic wreck for the fabled necklace named the Heart of the Ocean, the Titanic movie features actual footage of the wreckage. After recovering a safe that was thought to belong to first class passenger Caledon ‘Cal’ Hockley, played by Billy Zane, Lovett hopes to find the Heart of the Ocean contained within. He finds nothing but soggy bank statements and a sketch of a naked woman wearing the necklace, and Lovett believes that he has hit a dead end.
A woman by the name of Rose Calvert (Gloria Stuart) sees Lovett on the news and contacts him. Lovett is uninterested in what she has to say at first, but becomes intrigued when she tells him that she is the woman in the drawing. After being flown in to tell her story, we learn that Rose Calvert was once Rose DeWitt Bukater and was a first class passenger on the Titanic. She beings telling her experience on the doomed vessel.
The movie begins with drifter Jack Dawson (Leonardo DiCaprio) winning third class tickets for the Titanic in a poker game. Him and his friend Fabrizio catch the ship just as it is leaving. It also shows first class passenger Rose DeWitt Bukater (Kate Winslett), her mother Ruth (Frances Fisher) and her fiance Cal Hockley. Rose is on the way to Philadelphia to marry Hockley, an arrangement made by her mother to protect her status of wealth. Unhappy with this decision, Rose attempts to commit suicide by throwing herself from the Titanic.
She is confronted by Dawson who convinces her to come up from the railing. Rose invites Jack to dinner as a thanks, and after Jack spirits her away to a third class evening of dancing. Rose decides to decide her own future and asks Jack, who is an acclaimed artist to draw her nude wearing only the Heart of the Ocean.
The two then find their way to the cargo hold and find a rich man’s car waiting for them. They proceed to make love in the back seat before the ship hits an iceberg.
As people begin boarding lifeboats, Jack is arrested and locked in the master at arms’ office. Instead of boarding a lifeboat, Rose goes back to help Jack and the two must fight for survival. Jack and Rose’s fiancé Cal finally convince her to board a lifeboat, and Cal assures her that he has made arrangements to get both men off of the boat safely.
Cal double cross Jack and Rose decides to go back for him yet again despite her being urged to stay on the lifeboat. Rose finds Jack and Cal chases them into the flooded first-class dining room with a pistol. Once they escape Cal, he returns to the deck and boards a lifeboat after pretending to look after an abandoned child.
Rose and Jack go down with the ship and Jack helps her onto a door that can support the weight of one person. While Jack is in the freezing water, they exchange loving words, and Jack dies of hypothermia. Once aboard the Carpathia, Rose gives her name as Rose Dawson. She sees Cal one more time frantically looking for her but hides her face in a blanket just as he looks in her direction. Rose then proceeds to do everything that her and Jack promised to do together, and lives her life.
Back on Lovett’s ship, Rose walks to the side, produces the Heart of the Ocean and tosses it overboard. In the last scene, Rose is met by Jack on the grand staircase of the Titanic, they kiss and are applauded by those who were lost in the disaster. It isn’t known whether or not she is dreaming or if she dies (Jack told her she would die in her bed as an old woman), and James Cameron leaves this up to the viewer to decide.

Nothing On Earth Could Come Between Them

I Love Parent

Parents I Love You

Since I was baby, you cared so much for me
Sleepless nights, you sung to me lullabies
Till I grew up, you did not change you are kind
So, for that, I love you more than my life.

Dear Parents, I craved the horizon of success
Being a part, the only gift I guess
Sometimes I’m down trodden, you’re there
for sweet caress. I know not what to treasure,
only the love you deserved.

Mother, knowing I could not repay you
I could not find a mother just like you
You are a wonderful indeed, I Love You

Father, wishing you go to life, a perfect one
You even work hard just for us
Accept our uncertainties, you tenderly love us
Perhaps – someday – well be blessed, at last
I though so many times, so much times

How can I express my unfading love for you
My pen finds the way I could
So let this poem be my expression

My Beloved Parent

Trip to Pulau Langkawi Wif Friend

Yuhooo!!

It was an exciting journey back from Langkawi with my friend,
I took a plan back in February, by gushingly planned to this quick trip to Langkawi when there was a promo 2-ways-flight by AirAsia only at RM47 per head. Best!!

All together was only RM500++!! I thought that was awesome cos we've checked the price rate before which was about RM1000++...

Ok, let's talk about my trip k? I took off 1 big luggage, small towel, almost everything..haha
Not forgotten, a Nikon D3000 for photos!

we started off our journey on 30th May 2013. Already pre-booked a car cos it's school holiday. To avoid any hassle, we also booked a room via Agoda.com. Since it's a first-time planned friend vacation, I've spent a lil bit higher accomodation. That's to ensure safety and comfortably room.
ow, talking a bout our stay in Langkawi. I've booked Meritus Pelangi Beach Resort and Spa, near Pantai Chenang which is about 10mins drive to Airport. Well..well, it's an awesome resort with great facilities. I just love the room near the lake-2002. Nice right the room number!

The scenery is just beautiful and I really love the pool.
Food wasn't that good to us however cos they didn't really provide variety selections of food, taking into account, most visitors are foreigners. :-(

That's our itenary:-
Day1 - went to Pekan Kuah for shopping chocolates and my mom asked me for pressure cooker. We sent there just to survey the prices they offer. Quite numbers of shops selling Corelle, Visions and chocolates! Most famous among all are Idaman Suri and Haji Ismail. You can go to their shops in Pekan Kuah. We had dinner at one of famous seafood restaurat which was earlier, I was skeptical about the halal status. Since a lot of muslims ate in there then we decided to try on. This restaurant was highly recommended by a friend of us. It's a chinese restaurant that serves alcoholic drinks but no worries, they won't mix alcohols in your food. :-)
Oh ya, the restaurant named is Wonderland! Try and taste their delicious food! You wont regret!

Day2- went to most famous cable car in Asia known to be the longest. Waaa, this is really tricky cos we were thought it'd be OK to reach there at 8am but by then, it's already a long queue! Well, we were forgotten it was school holidays. The queue was like 50meters long! Since we have small kids, we were not willing to wait and come again the next day as we will be going back, so we bought a so called VIP tickets which cost us RM60 if not mistaken more than normal ticket. Hope this helps!

Then, we went for island hoping. We spent a day out at returned to the resort at 6pm plus...urgh, too late since our trip was to short. huhu
We were given special treat for dinner and I just loved it! It's another BBQ seafood dinner! By the way, near the resort, there is a laundry shop for you to wash your cloths with cheaper price than send in within the resort. Hmm, it's a known fact.

Day3- went to Pekan Kuah after breakfast. Bought necessary gifts for family and I bought a Vision big cooker! Yey!
Rushed back to resort, packed stuffs and returned our rental car at Airport-just parked the car anywhere within the airport and informed the PIC you're dealing with when you rent the car.
Oh ya, one most memorable things to us before boarding. Since we're kinda late, we were almost blocked by the Air Asia staffs to be on board. Oh my! But then, thanks so much to the friendly staffs whom had made our day as she helped us to check in. Guess what, our names were called out multiple times for been late. Well, that's really made me cry inside...uwaaaaaa

So, that's the end of our story.

Hatyai Trip

Last Friday I took a trip to Hat Yai, my choice of transport this time around was KTM (Keratapi Tanah Melayu). It was a looong 12 hour journey all the way from KL Central to Hat Yai but nevertheless, it was an experience. Price for KTM tickets there via sleeper train was around RM58, so at least we got to sleep on the train!
No pictures of the sleeper train though because my iPhone battery was dying :(
Anyhoo! We reached Hat Yai the next day at approximately 12pm, or 11am Hat Yai time! We stayed at the V.L Hat Yai hotel which was located in the city of Hat Yai and to our delight, was in walking distance of the Hat Yai train station! Approximately 10 minutes walk to be exact!
The hotel was pretty nice, I mean it wasn't meant for luxury, but it was comfy and sufficient with WiFi (that you have to request login details and password from the receptionist) and everything. Room service there was crazy cheap as well.

Price of the hotel was RM80 per night including all the taxes. Pretty cheap for a budget hotel. Plus, we were staying on the 10th floor, so the hotel came with an awesome view of Hat Yai City!

After settling down, we decided to use the first day as a free day to walk around and just explore the city and what it had to offer. First stop was the market that was just across the street from our hotel.

The market wasn't really what we expected I guess because when we thought "Thailand" + "market", I guess we kinda expected it to be something like Chatuchak market in Bangkok. This market on the other hand was more similar the the Filipino market in Sabah.
Rows of shops that sold stuff from food, to clothing, bags, make ups, household appliances and nearly everything you can think of! (except pets).

Now people expect prices of stuff in Thailand to be cheap, but after my trip to Phuket and now Hat Yai, the price doesn't really vary much from the prices of stuff sold in places like Sungai Wang, KL. So I determined that I wasn't gonna buy anything from Hat Yai because at the end of my trip, I'm gonna be the of suffering while carrying back super heavy luggage filled with 'stuff-I-could've-bought-in-Malaysia'.

Anyway!

After walking around for a bit we then decided to get some food. We were recommended to go to the food court as we did not wanna risk eating street food and getting sick so early into our trip. After lunch and more walking around the city, we then decided to go for Thai massages. Massage parlors can be found nearly everywhere you look in Hat Yai. The basic price of a massage would be 300baht, but because they have many competitors around, you can easily bargain with them. Our traditional Thai massage on the first day cost us 300baht (RM30) for 2 hours.
It was so soothing and I could feel my bones being readjusted in nearly every part of my body! .After that, i headed back to shower and came out again at around 7pm at night to find food before going to round city.I decided to try various types of street food this time around. So I try Super soft, hot and fresh buns! With kaya, butter, or click floss fillings to choose from. Mine is the green on with kaya and it tasted good! Chicken floss one was also OK, but personally I've never really liked chicken floss. Price? 10baht each!. After that, I try to eat manggo, but my friend said that this was supposedly good. Mango, served with glutenous rice and topped with coconut milk. It was really good. The mango was sweet, but I have to say I loved to glutenous rice more! Price? 50baht!

Tuk tuks in front of hotel's will try to rip you off by giving incredibly high prices for a ride. Normal price per person for a tuk tuk ride is 20-25baht, but if you attempt to catch a tuk tuk in front of the hotel, they would attempt tcharge you 100baht per person!

The next day! We booked a day tour that cost us 1500baht (RM150), where a driver would bring us to all some of the tourist destinations in Hat Yai. RM150 was for a personal driver, that meant it was only RM75 each, cheap!. Our guide dropped us off here, at the Tang Kuan Hill Lift Station where you can buy tickets at 30baht per person and the lift would bring you up a very high hill which a beautiful view!

Gorgeous view of Songkhla beach!

Beautiful view of Songkhla.

After enjoying the view and heading back down, our next stop was the aquarium that displayed loads of fishes taken from the gulf of Thailand! There was even a show where the diver fed the fishes, turtles, and sting rays! Cute. Entrance fee was 300baht(RM30) per person, but it was a nice place to cool of from the heat while still doing touristy stuff.
After the Aquarium, we then headed to the Songkhla beach to see the mermaid status on the beach side, but sadly I wasn't able to take a picture with it because this kid was sitting there for a good 20minutes refusing to budge while touching the mermaid, very obscene sight.
So I gave up and settled for a picture of the beautiful beach!

Our last stop was the floating market, we were disappointed at first because it was raining, but thank God, after awhile, the rain stopped!

The entire place was really beautiful, and seeing such different culture, the way people live and all was really a nice delight.
We also decided to grab some stuff to eat while we were there:

Overall, Hat Yai was a really nice place , though by taking KTM is actually totaled to 4 days 3 nights.
Reminder is that everything here is in Thai, and unless you can speak Hokkien which is what the locals there speak, you better do some research before going.
Recommended travel agency to go to for a day trip tour would be Chan Travel Agency that's just beside Lee Garden hotel because we went to a lot of different travel agencies, and Chan offered the most for the lowest price! *props for them*
So yeah, next time me and friend planned to take a KTM to Hat Yai and bus to Krabi - Phuket - Bangkok, haha, we shall see.

Til then, ta for now!

Happy holiday Hatyai wif friend

Friendships Like Ants and Sugar

I jumped into my bed, exhausted from my late-night babysitting job.  It was past midnight, and I was looking forward to sleeping since I had to get up for work in about eight hours.  Normally, I would have pulled my big, fluffy down comforter up to my chin right away, but my body felt as if it were on fire with fever.  A bad cold had hit me, just as it always does during the mid-spring season.  I could hardly breathe, and my head was pounding.  I tossed and turned until I finally fell asleep about an hour later.  Little did I know how much sleep I was not going to get. Shortly after I had fallen asleep, my phone rang.  I have my own phone line, and I was used to people calling late at night.  I assumed it was probably my then-boyfriend calling to check up on me, but when I got to the phone, I did not recognize the name or the phone number on the caller I.D.  Still hazy from sleeping, I answered, but it took me a minute to discern the voice on the other line.  It was my friend Nick, who is a few years older than me.  It was not unusual for him to call when he was bored in the middle of the night, for he was rather irresponsible.  But he told me he was scared, that he was in danger because "the Chicago people" had found him.  I did not understand at first.  Then I remembered that he used to live in Chicago and had been somewhat involved in a gang there.  I heard people in the background, and I knew by the way he was talking that he was intoxicated.  He said he was at a party in the subdivision where he lived.  The gang had gone to his house looking for him, but then saw his car parked at the party, so they stopped there.  Nick was hiding in the house, and I could sense the fear in his voice.  My stomach tightened, and I was so afraid for him.  Then all of a sudden he said he had to go and hung up the phone. It was like his fear traveled through the phone line and took me over.  I wanted it to be a dream.  I tried to call him back, but I continuously got the annoying busy signal.  I just sat on my bed in the dark, holding the phone, hoping he would call back.  He finally called back over an hour later, and by that time I was sick with fear.  He said the guys ended up going through the party looking for him, so he crawled out the bathroom window and took off running back to his house.  He said it wasn't safe to stay there, and he wanted me to meet him somewhere.  I was worried about him driving, but he didn't want me to pick him up in case the guys were to follow.  He told me to meet him at Wendy's as soon as possible and to call the police if he didn't show up.  With that in mind, I put on my tennis shoes, grabbed my keys, and left.  I hoped my parents wouldn't wake up, and I thought of an excuse just in case.  As I was closing the garage door behind me, my dad bolted out the door after me in an upset rage.  Usually, this would scare me, but the only thing I cared about was getting to Nick.  I told my dad that I was going to meet my cousin for an early morning run.  Maybe I am a bad liar.  He did not buy my story.  He grabbed my keys and told me that I didn't need to drive if I was going to be running anyway.  Instead of arguing, I whipped around and dashed off.  I had to get to my friend, no matter what.  The distance from my house to Wendy's is quite far, especially for an out-of-shape sick person who decided to run there in the cold, early hours of the morning.  I ran as fast as I could, and about halfway there, I began wheezing due to the congestion in my lungs.  I had to stop, as much as I didn't want to, because of this.  I looked up, and I was so dizzy the trees looked as if they were swirling.  It was as if the environment around me was going to swallow me.  I knew I had to push past this and keep going.  It seemed as if hours had gone by since I began running.  The sun began to peek out.  I then realized how nauseated I was and remembered that I had not eaten anything the previous day.  My entire body was shaking, and I was sweating but at the same time shivering from the cold air.  When I got to the last stretch of road in my run, it really seemed like a dream.  I felt like I was getting nowhere.  That was the longest piece of road I have ever run. When I finally got to Wendy's though, it was not with a sigh of relief.  Instead my heart palpitations tripled.  Nick and his car were nowhere in sight.  I sat down on the cold pavement in the parking lot, waiting . . . and waiting.  I was so nervous and worried, and really sick.  Just when I was about to give up hope of seeing my friend alive again, I saw his car go through the McDonald's parking lot across the street.  He's alive, I thought.  Then I realized all the trouble I went to, and I felt angry.  I ran over to him, and he said that he thought we were supposed to meet at McDonald's, not at Wendy's.  Then he just sat there eating his breakfast sandwich. I could have yelled, but I was just so glad to see him.  I told him he owed me big, and to stay out of trouble for a while.

A Friend Of Mine

Just thought I'd let you know,
even though we're apart,
Wherever I go, whatever I do,
you're always in my heart

There's not a day that passes by
when I don't stop and wonder why-
Why was I blessed with a friend like you,
even after what I've put you through?

Through all the pain and all the tears,
you're always there to calm my fears
Thanks for always being around,
to help me up when I am down

So, I want you to know:
no matter what happens,
Or what time may do,
I am always here for you

A friend of mine
you will always be
To you, with love,
from me
