Because of 911...Americans will never trust the government or media again.I haven't believed or trusted them since Kennedy was killed with that joke of the Warren commission report!I didn't trust the government before 9/11. I surely don't trust them now. Terrorists committing an act of war against America on 9/11 has nothing to do with that.America's bureaucracy at its best: a toxic building ruined by a calamity that struck the hearts of millions takes a DECADE to dismantle.
You'd think people would want it down since it reminds them of 9/11.
And even if that weren't the case, you'd think people would want the land (it's Manhattan!).
And even if that weren't the case, you'd think the local, state, or federal government would step in immediately.
But no, it took four years for that to happen and another six for it to finish.
