Smart 3D Training in Malaysia

PDMEC KKTM Kemaman is center of excellence that aims to develop skills in designing such a Plant Station Power Plant, Oil & Gas Plant, Petrochemical, Mining and industries associated with the process by using Intergraph Smart3D Software. 

SmartPlant 3D (SP3D) training imparts the knowledge and skills to use this 3D modelling software for plant designing. The knowledge of using SP3D is helpful in executing the detailed designing for engineering projects in Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Power plant, Food and beverage, Pharmaceuticals, and other sectors based on civil, electrical, and instrumentation. The training will guide the participants on the fundamentals, piping modelling, equipment modelling, structural, and drawing production.

By the end of the training, the learners will be able to:
  • Explore SP3D modelling software from Intergraph 
  • Work on templates, style rules, and WBS items 
  • Effectively work on space management and define control points 
  • Define piping hierarchy, piping routing and piping placing 
  • Create drawing production using drawing creation and Isometric drawing extraction 
  • Define equipment placing and establishing relationship between their placing 
  • Identify nozzle orientation 
  • Work on solid modelling and structure modelling 
  • Place Grid/Coordinate System and linear member system 
  • Create design for different structure components including slabs, walls, stairs, ladders, and handrails

AVEVA Plant Design Management System (PDMS) software is used for exploring the concepts practically. PDMS is a 3D CAD customizable software for construction and engineering projects. the aim of AVEVA PDMS course are to builds the proficiency in the candidates to develop 3D plant design for all sizes of plant project, ranging from minimal upgradation to new installations of unlimited complexity.

By the end of the course you will be capable enough to:
  •         Understand the role of PDMS in engineering industry
  •          Describe role and responsibilities of PDMS Engineer / Designer/ Administrator
  •          Discuss piping engineering fundamentals along with pipe fittings and components
